Sister Bay Marina
November 22, 2015Made our way over to Sister Bay on a warm afternoon. Upper 80’s but very windy. The wind helped to make for a rather comfortable afternoon of painting. I was able to find a spot where a small structure shielded my easel from the wind. Our dog wasn’t so fortunate. We noticed him constantly shaking his head. We realized that the wind was bothering him. My wife took a chance and draped a small towel over his head, shielding his ears. He seemed to enjoy the headdress and settled down eventually laying down and taking a nap with his head covered by the towel.
Finished the work, packed up the gear and headed over to Husby’s for a take out pizza. Then back out to enjoy another beautiful Door County sunset. Good day.
