Egg Harbor Regatta

Egg Harbor Regatta – Oil on Canvas Panel – 8 x 16

Traveled to paint at the beach in Egg Harbor. Had intentions of painting the view further to the east, but the attraction  of capturing the regatta was too much. Fortunately found a spot by a picnic table that also offered shade from a tree. Clawed really enjoyed the shade and slept most of the time. As I was in the final stages of completing this painting, a group of friends set up camp nearby. Thought it funny when one of the young women was surprised by Clawed being there. Evidently he was so relaxed and she was oblivious to his being right out there just a few feet from where she set her towel.
